automatical standby for MP2 possible (1 Viewer)

I was using the MP1 extension "PowerScheduler" to automatically put my MP1-based HTPC (client + server on the same machine) to sleep after some time of inactivity (and get it waked up just before a scheduled recording).

Is there already any working equivalent for MP2?

The TV-Server version 3 is the same as it is in MP1. PowerScheduler is included in TV-Server version in MP2. You can configure it just as you have in MP1

thank you for your answer. I may misunderstand this, but how would the tv server (plugin) be able to detect if I am e.g. watching a Bluray (or a tv recording), and prevent standby then?

I tried to enable the plugin, but get error messages like

[PS StandbyWakeup] [ERROR] - EpgGrabbing: unable to connect to controller at: MEDIACENTER

in the ServerError.log file (MEDIACENTER is my hostname).

Do you have any idea how I can get it to work?
