IMDb and/or Amazon (who owns IMDb) has a tendency to switch how their website reacts on a moments notice. Before in my debugging I was simply able to open the Internet Explorer options, go to "Languages" and change it to for example "Swedish", and IMDb would show me Swedish titles. I repeat the same steps today and I get English titles. This makes it near impossible for me to come up with a permanent solution. Are you being in Portugal at least able to make it work the other way around? Inside IE, goto "Internet Options" and then add English as language and move it to the 'top' of the language list. Then visit some IMDb movie detail page that you know has a Portugese title entry in the AKA (Also Known As) list. If that works, it might then already work inside MovingPictures as well (not sure if the trident engine used by the .NET framework relies on the same registry entry or if another is used). At the same time I created a new MovPic ticket to allow scraper-scripts control of the HTTP Language attribute, which will at least eliminate a large chunk of the problem. If all fails I will setup a proxy script on my USA based server. Your situation is more unique in Portugal then Sweden, because there is a localized www.imdb.pt version available for you. So let me know the results of that first please.
