I've experienced autotune problems, and wondered why MP does only find ~250 channels on Astra instead of 600...
after a million scans, i finally had 350 and the most important were under them. BUT as i started to try watching them i discovered that MP was only able to play the channels it finds with the first scan! and these are all on vertical frequencies. I have tried several horizontal channels, none worked!

Another user on team-mediaportal.de has confirmed that...
I tried SVN'S from friday 28th of April till monday... but as there has not been any news about TV in changelog i guess it persists!
Can you help me?!

cannot provide you logs, but i remember it says sth, like signal: False for all horiz. channels i tried, such like RTL, RTL2, VOX and others i never watch but found and identified as horiz. channels via google...
I have had this problem on my former WinXP installation, so i reinstalled, but the problem persists!

the problem is, now it does not finde anymore horiz. channels via scanning! so i cannot give you logs, but i am 100% sure this is the problem! DVBViewer is doing it fine!
It does not depend on my diseqc settings as i dont use diseqc, but i even tried ALL! No effect!

    haha, got new results:

if i use DVBViewer, it says in Setup4PC Diseqc Level 1A/A, BUT in MP i also have made this settings, BTU during scan it says Diseqc: Nein/No in Setup4PC!!!
so it seems to be a diseqc problem!!!

seems like the only diseqc setup MP recognizes is Simple A, all others are if i choose them not recognized by Setup4PC... and i need Level 1a/a!!!

    Logs are required!

    Taipan said:
The logs required are the ones referred to in these Instructions for logging SVN bugs

Like Taipan said, without logs this report is -> useless

    1. start MediaPortal Setup
    2. delete all TV-Channels
    3. close MediaPortal Setup
    4. start TestTool -> use "Step 1" Button to clear all old logs
    5. start MediaPortal Setup
    6. enter the autotune tab
    7. enter the correct settings (if you do not use multiple LNBs enter "none" for Diseqc)
    8. run autotune
    9. when finished close MediaPortal Setup
    10. in TestTool -> use "Step 2" Button to export all logs
    11. attach those logs to forum post.
