Seams youtube.fm missing all logos in media folder, as no logo view in youtubb.fm home menu , no sd/hd logos , no isdownloaded logo ,no next page logo ... please check again (i use avallonis v1.0.1)

Hi cul8er!

First i'd like to thank you for this great mod of Avalon! Maybe i have found some possible Bugs, please take a look at the screenshots!

Screenshot 1: Mymusicplayingnow/fanartview -> missing infos oft artist, title, etc....
Screenshot 1: share view/coverflow & cover -> missing album titles. IIRC i talked about this issue with nico some weeks ago. It seems, that "<align>center</align>" with fadelabels doesn't work propper! Maybe you will find a solution!

Im wondering if anyone can help me, im trying to get TV to work how I want.

If I set the following "TV" parameters in MediaPortal configuration:

Turn on TV - yes
Directly show full screen TV - yes

The in default form it works ALMOST how I want, however, I want to be able to access the mytvhomeserver.xml from a menu option so that I can have a one stop place to go to manage my tv recordings/schedules etc... I will refer to this as "Manage TV"

If I simply add the mytvhomeserver.xml to a submenu of TV then this does not work. It will attempt to display the screen, but then goes directly to fullscreen tv.

Theres a few things I want to try and achieve ;

1) When I select "TV" it turns tv on AND displays the channel guide (not tv guide), I want the channel gudie to go after 5 seconds if nothing is pressed

2) Entering "Manage TV" (mytvhomeserver.xml) does not force turning the tv on, it will simply display a TV preview if the TV is on, if the TV is off, then no preview will be displayed.

I have ALMOST got it working, but not 100%. The TV option now references mytFullScreen.xml, but this doesnt turn the TV on, if it did, or I could make it so it did then I would be 100% happy.

Thank you SO much for the beautiful MOD, cul8er! Not sure if anyone notice this. Under the Pictures Basic Home screen, where on the right side shows listing files of the pictures and a thumbnail of the picture is selected, but the left side shows the preview of the picture. The pictures is showed with a very low resolution. It would be great if it can fixed showing in a high resolution.

Thanks for your report but sorry to say but both of your reported bugs are MP fadelabel bugs. When using center as alignment and the text is longer than what fit into the fadelabel it displays as empty. Hopefully this can be fixed in next version of MP.

JimmyBoy: I would like such a setup as well, but I think it is not possible at the momen. The switch to Fullscreen TV is done programmatically and is not under skin control.

Hi,

I have added some new features to latest media handler that enables a context menu (F3) on the latest facades in basichome. See attached images. Will be part of next version of this MOD (that will include next version of LMH, not yet released). Also added a configuration option for TVSeries to only include episodes with chosen ratings/classifications.

I don't know exactly if the option "display next episodes for last watched episode" contains my feature request but I would love to see LatestMediaHandler handle tv series like this:

- Just show one episode per tv series on basichome (not 2 or more, even if they are newer then other episodes)
- Show the first unwatched episode of the series on basic home independant from the last added episode

New added episodes show that the series is "active" and therefor they are the indicator for series that are shown on basic home.
But it would be possible to resume watching your series where you actually are.

Is it possible to add an option to handle tv series like this?

Would you be able to point me to the Feature Request post, and thank you for taking the time to read my post and make the FR.

I did try looking in the mytvhomeserver.xml to see what may trigger turning the TV on but I could find nothing, so I assume it is either linked to the WindowID or the .xml filename - I assume when mediaportal detects either of these, it checks the "Turn on TV" setting set in the configuration, and acts appropriately.

Also I assume something similar for the channel guide that gets displayed. Simply displaying/calling mytvfullscreen.xml does not turn the TV on, but when I select a different channel from the channel guide, this turns the TV on. I am trying to understand how this works - ie what actually triggers mediaportal to turn the TV on/off.

Basically I want to make the functionality that is currently in mytvhomeserver.xml that makes the tv turn on, be removed from mytvhomeserver.xml and placed in myfullscreen.xml
