Hello,
Let's see if I can explain well...

I'm using MP 1.1.0RC1, Blue3Wide skin and TVSeries 2.5.1. Everything works ok.

However, transparency in series/seasons/episodes list views is not perfect for me. I think the courtain is too opaque, so the backgrount fanart is "covered" by the blue courtain. Many fanarts are especially affected, as the faces of the characters are in the middle of the jpg file and they're covered by the damn courtain. Take a look at the Lost image on the main post: Jack's face is partially covered, same with Locke's, and only the eyes of Kate's face can be fully appreciated.

I would be glad if the transparency is improved (or reduced the courtain opacity), like the FanArtHandler plugin (please look the following screenshots from the Blue3Wide skin files by ysmp):

Maybe it's a way to set the transparency/opacity on the TV-Series plugin config, but I didn't see it.

Thank you.

Hi,

its not a transparenc setting in the skin, rather the skin is referencing a .PNG image that has a transparent colour channel. TO make the overlay more transparent, you need to edit the .PNG image, and increase the transparency. Photoshop will do it, not sure about any free image editors, eg GiMP.

You cannot be right. The backdrop is in the background and the skin puts something opaque in front of the backdrop (such as "mainoverlay.png" in C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\Blue3wide\Media

In the previous MPTVS versions, I changed the colordiffuse tag to reduce the strength of the overlay and view the backdrops in their full glory, see this thread:

https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...ops-more-visible-increase-transparence-69362/

However, I can't now find the right place to this little tweak anymore. Does anybody know where the opaqueness of the overlay is changed now.

How does one show the entire backdrop?
