I liked teaser17 more than teaser 18 as well. I think that if possible showing teaser 17 in motion (a clip!) would sell it better if it's your personal favourite, cul8er.

Did you consider using a similar layout as that from Mustalayca, but with semi-transparent posters to allow the backdrop to show?

Having a border with information at the bottom is nice as well, and you already have that on your Basic Home after all. Attached a mockup using Mustalayca.

I would agree with you emphatic, I would prefer something like this. The skin looks great cul8er, can you tell me your secret on how you do things at this speed and to this quality?

I made another (much better) mockup. Don't know if it's possible to do in MediaPortal, but if you can set the non-focused posters to 70% transparency the backdrop would be seen like in my attached mockup. If the backdrop is delayed (so it fades up after half a second when the user stops browsing, using a black background while the browsing occurs. The second mockup mimics this.

I used the Basic Home menu background as an info pane. Perhaps having the plot scroll along the bottom like the RSS feed would work?

I still prefer number two of the original set although the new image is very kaleidescape-ish. I still think the hand icon is not a great choice i found it hard to locate to begin and very wii-esque which I personally do not like.

i have seen that you have sometimes the infotext and titels right justified and sometimes left justiefied (movies, series, lastfm). can you make it in all screens right justified or full justification.

Your suggestion works great. While navigating all posters show with full visibility. Then all except the focused one gets dimmed and the backdrops show... very nice!

That looks just great.....

The only (nit picking) thing that looks a little bit "screamy" to me is the actors in CAPS in the right bottom corner...

Cant wait to give this skin a try...
