In my Logs I have a lot lot of warnings about missing controls. I thought it is StreamedMP relatet. But the StreamedMP-Team told me that it isn't a problem of the Skin, it is a problem of the Bad Logging form Mediaportal. I think it is not a big problem, but also not very nice.

    AW: Bad logging of Mediaportal

The logging of missing controls was entered some time ago for skinners to check for skin issues.
    Nothing to worry about ;)
I think we will change this in future release.

Funny thing is that even DefaultWide has missing controls:

Skin and code controls are connected using [SkinControl] attribute. There is no way of knowing which control connected like this is mandatory an which is not.. Thats why we log all of them missing in the skin file, to help skinners :) Most of the time there is nothing wrong with those log entries, just ignore them, might ne removed later on...

As I said before, we are still in the process to change hardcoded IDs to regular skin properties, e.g. replace ID 10 in TVOSD.xml (from the example above) with any ID and the property #TV.View.thumb to give skinners more flexibility, avoid ID conflicts and make the skin files more readable so one knows what item is displayed.

Marking this as no bug. As above it is just logging that controls may be missing and is doing what it is meant to do. We should really differentiate between controls that are optional and those that are mandatory but that is possibly something for later on as an improvement

As I wrote in the above post, that is not possible. Logging either stays or goes :)
