I did indeed try the Pure Video Platinum trial and it did the same thing. That was when I was using the onboard 512MB GEFORCE graphics. I thought, maybe the on-board graphics aren't enough so I snagged a 512MB ATI DDR2 PCIex graphics card and it did the same exact thing.

Do you think it may be something audio related? ALL other hardware is brand new and working nice. I have heard some buzzz about HD content and Dolby 5.1 causing some delays with on-board sound cards.

The audio does not skip when the video skips though. Ughh. I am so frustrated right now! hehe Usually problems don't kick my butt like this one has! hehe

Have you tried digital channels in another program? Have you tried a different PCI slot (had to change slots for my vbox)?

I use onboard sound for mine without any problems.
How is your signal? Digital channels don't give snow when the reception is poor.

I am sorry I can't be of more help.

I tried a trial of BeyondTV just for giggles and it did the same thing. I haven't tried a different slot but I will tonight.

My signal should be fine. I plug directly into TV and it works like a charm. No skips or anything.

Any other ideas as this is really baffling me!

I bought an Avermedia M780 PCIex tuner and it seemed to help quite a bit under BeyondTV. I have yet to locate the CaptureCardDefinition code though so I haven't been able to test it under MediaPortal! Does have this code?

I am soooooooooo close! hehe

Also, any tips for XP Pro (SP2) or my PC in general to optimize it for a Home Theatre PC?
