Banners disappear after I watch a whole show. (1 Viewer)

I have a similar problem as well. If I watch a TV show at all, whether I watch the full thing, or back out of the episode partway, my banners, episode thumbs and fan art all disappear. If I stick with that TV Show, I can watch another episode, but if I back out to the main TV Series menu, I get black screen and have to quit via alt-F4. I'm using Vista 64, RC3, and Indigo on my machine, HOWEVER, I was still having the same problem with RC2, I've been just trying new releases as they're available seeing if there's a fix.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't this listed in the TV Series bug list as well... I THINK it's #25, but I don't remember where to find that known issue list, I saw a link to it once, and then forgot to save it.

I've made a patch to MP's code that's been checked in SVN on Saturday. It should fix all the disappearing images bugs.

Sadly, right now it seems there's a hold on SVN builds, probably waiting for RC4, so unless you're able to build the codebase by yourself, you'll have to wait.

About EVR, well in my experience it's not good enough. Only in VMR9 can I get jitter free playback using reclock. And tearing is often a problem when exclusive mode is off (I don't use aero).

In any case, there was an issue with the way D3D textures were handled in MP, and that's now fixed.

Yes, that's the list I remember, it seems that the issue I was talking about has either been removed or was a figment of my imagination... Either way, thanks

And thanks Zeflash as well, I'm excited to try it out when possible. This issue has been the only thing preventing me from using MP full-time on my HTPC, and while I figure I know my way around a computer pretty well, a lot of this stuff is still far over my head.

did you check "All issues" or did you leave it at "Open issues"
