Basic Home +IFX = just slow... (1 Viewer)

Hi!

I'm using Maya now for some weeks and I really like it!

I would also like to use the build in IFX functions but after enabling these the basic home screen is just so slow it is unusable. Scrolling takes forever and the bullets appear really slow.
I though that it might be my harddisk or my CPU but I can't see any performance issues while scrolling.

I tried to disable IFX just for the basic home screen but even after disabling the IFX on the home screen the scrolling is slow. It seems that I can disable all the IFX features (but still leaving IFX on in the config) but the skin is still slow.

Is this a known issue or is there anything I can do to fix this?

Mainboard: Gigabyte GA-H55N-USB3, H55 (Sockel-1156, dual PC3-10667U DDR3)
CPU: Intel Core i3-540 (OnBoard GFX)
RAM: 4GB

Sounds like a bug. What version of Maya are you using and what version of MP? Maybe it's because there is two versions of MP (1.1.2 and 1.2.0 ALPHA) and therefore also two versions of Maya especially concerning the Maya-plugin. Could you please post this?

I'm using MP 1.1.1.0 and Maya 1.0.0.604.

Are there any logs that I can provide that may help?

Did you replace the Maya-plugin with the one from svn? What version of plugin are you running?
