Bass Engine Issue with Config and System.xml (1 Viewer)

MediaPortal Version: 1.0.2
MediaPortal Skin: StreamedMP-0.8.448
Windows Version: Vista SP1


Mediaportal was working super smooth until I started playing around with WhiteCap visualization. The visualization would display a black screen in the preview window and start to hang or freeze mediaportal when put into fullscreen.

I installed foobar to test out the plug-in and possibly use it as a replacement to the bass engine. The configuration started to kick back xml errors and I'm not sure where the root of the issue is. As of now, the audio codec is not selected so mediaportal will not play music or stream the radio. In addition,t he entire configuration screen will not save changes due to the xml error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm very new to mediaportal and do not yet know what to look for in the xml files or how to go about resetting the defaults. I am temped to reinstall though the work I've done with moving pictures, I don't want to lose those settings.
