Subject says most of it.
My system was prevented to standby due to audio driver usage.
I always wondered why audiodg kept using 5-15% of cpu without playing any music.
Now I discovered it also prevented it from system going to standby (using powercfg and MCE standby tool)
When I disabled the upmix feature in mediaportal configuration, the system was able to go into standby again and audiodg went to 0-1% again when music stops playing.
Now I use the upmix feature from the VIA audio application to have basically the same functionality.
To be honest it is even a better solution, because it is a system wide setting.
Possible a system/driver specific bug which only happens with certain audio hardware/drivers.
Just wanted to let you and google know.
