Batch File Help Needed (1 Viewer)

I am in need of some help writing a file or similar that will convert my xmltv file that is grabbed from SD to tvguide.xml that will work with
the XMLTV module. I'm using mc2xml freeware version and it grabs data from my subscription just fine but I have to manually rename the output
which is fine as long as I remember to do it So in short I would like to use the Windows Task Scheduler to run mc2xml in Admin mode and trigger a script to rename
it's output. Does this sound doable ??

I haven't messed with a batch file command in years so those brain cells are surely dormant LOL!

Hello again Wayne

As documented on the mc2xml website and in our setup instructions, mc2xml has a "-o" command line option (AKA a switch) which enables you to set the output file name. Is it not possible to simply follow this part of our setup instructions?

Thanks for the setup link. For some reason I couldn't get the -o command to work consistently .

Thanks again for coming to my aid. Sorry I didn't catch the setup link with the file instructions. Thought I had researched that good but apparently not LOL!
All setup well so hopefully after 08:00 tomorrow there should be a new file import showing
