BBC HD is transmitted with two audio streams, NAR:Mpeg1 and eng:AC3. The NAR stream is someone narating what is happening, rather than the audio; it is this one that the playback defaults to.

Is there a way to make it default to the eng:AC3 audio stream?

Thanks

    Hi,

Yes in the MediaPortal configuration program - Expand the TV node and click "TV Client". Click the "Audio Settings" tab.

    Check "Prefer AC3 sound"

I'd also add English to preferred languages as well (if it's not already)
