I own a Satellite M30 with Pentium M 1,6G+ 512 MB Ram & Centrino.
Currently using MP and like it... thinking about a remote to use with.... any advise?

Would like to avoid MCE-like external IR units and rather use Toshy's built in if possibile

Thanks

The toshiba build in IRda adapter wont be usable. IRda is an infrared data connection and uses a different wavelength to remote controls. You wont have a choice, you need to go external.

If its the same as the one I looked up, you might also have trouble with a 32mb video card.

Do you know if there's any notebook out there with a built in remote receiver?

IMHO it's clumky to have an external receiver on notebooks!
