Before MediaPortal 1.3 upgrade to MediaPortal 1.4 (1 Viewer)

Was just wondering if i upgrade my TV server computer to MediaPortal 1.4 from MediaPortal 1.3 will client installs with MediaPortal 1.3 installed still be able to connect and use the TV server or do i need to upgrade all client computers at the same time as the TV server computer.
