Hello, i have been reading this forum and trying my best to get my new tv card working with media portal as i heard so much about it.

Now this is my first TV card so i apologies for perhaps my basic levels of understanding.
I have the card working with its supplied software on both xp sp2 and vista 64 with out problems. I would like to find some better software however mostly because the TV guide is pathetic!

I have downloaded the graph program and tried to edit the xml file, i must admit i was some what guessing/feeling my way as i did this.
However i found that the E700 was listed in the file so do i need to do this?

I have ran the program wizard and also the conf.exe but both say there is no card in my system...

if anyone can help or give me some ideas i would be soooo happy otherwise i will have to revert back to that’s compro 4 program

cheers

edit,
i did notice that sections and tables is pin 5 on mine and its pin 4 in the xml file. should i change this?

    Hi,
Have you tried installing a svn(use the latest availible on the list), your card it's in the definition file so it should work.
If it doesn't pleae attach the logs using MPTestTool.

For UK with dvb card, would definately go down the TVE3 road, takes longer to install and wise to keep installation webpage open, so you can check all your settings as you are installing, but has much more functionality than the inbuilt MyTV.

But try svn as ronisle suggested, you can always update to TVE3 anytime as long as you use same version release of MP svn and TVE3 download.
