Best Audio Codec/settings for DTS ? (1 Viewer)

I do have a receiver which decodes DTS and AC3 so i installed AC3 filter and set the config to use SPDIF

Getting sounds through but the spoken word volume is very low. It's not a speaker setup issue because it's fine from other sources (my bluray player)

oh and VLC player on the same computer works great, sound coming out is much much louder so i know it's not any computer hardware issue

What are the optimum codec and configs for

MPEG/AC3 Audio decoder

AAC Audio decoder

Audio renderer ?

Ive changed all the decoders to MPC and it works much better now
