Best quality analog tv tuner (1 Viewer)

NTSC if that makes any difference. I got a pvr 150 a couple months ago, and I am very happy with it, but I am ready to commit my desktop totally to being a htpc. The problem is that the pvr 150, while having decent enough quality when compressed down to mp4 format and transfered to my ipod, doesn't have the quality level I want for my tv (using s-video to output to the tv).

What I am getting at here is this: what is the analog tv tuner card with the best picture quality? I got my first real job, so money isn't really an issue (within reason).

Bump. Should mention that I don't care if it has digital or not, as long as it has analog.

With my 500, (same as the 150, but with 2 tuners) I can't tell the diff between live and recorded TV - So I'm guessing you need to do a little tweaking... Basic problem is that "Analog" TV sucks with regards to quality - It'll look like crap no matter what..

Appreciate your input. Should I be looking for a digital or hd tuner or something then? My dad has an hd tv w/ a comcast digital hd cable box (Motorolla series) if that helps.

For my current tuner I am gonna try using a newer cable to see if that helps with the quality. This one is a bit old I think.

If you do a little searching, you'll find plenty of posts (and ones by yours truly) which points to later drivers which makes a world of difference in quality ;-)
