Big Problems with ATI Remote Wonder (1 Viewer)

I really like media portal and want to use it but im having a very unusual problem. Whenever i start media portal on my primary monitor my ati remote wonder works fine, but the minute i move media portal to my vizio tv which is acting as my 2nd monitor my cursor goes crazy and i have to shut media portal down to get control of my system. anyone else having this problem?

Note: I've tried selecting the ati remote control in the config and with just native support both start going crazy once media portal is moved to my tv. Also when i chose the ati remote in config my up and down arrows skip 2 entries at a time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I really don't know anything about the issue you're having, but what happens when you start it on the second monitor from the beginning?

same thing is happening. Cursor starts moving by itself and i have to shut media portal down in order to regain control of the cursor.

I have similar problems with this remote, Mainly the skipping to places issue, a lot of the commands repeat, and I've also had it repeat the last command when you press another button. Don't really want to get a MCE remote, as the ATI is RF not IR which is far better - not needing line of site.

The skipping twice may be an issue if you have the ATI software running and the Mediaportal software running, as they both detect certain keys (ie up and down) and so each press gets read twice. I recommend disabling the ATI software (remove it from the software starting on your system in regedit) and just activating the remote in the media portal config. You will no longer be able to use the pad to control the mouse cursor, but this might actually solve your other issue.
