black and white with streaming video (1 Viewer)

I'm sure it has something to do with codecs and stuff, but I can't find it.
I installed Mediaportal for a friend on an older pc.
everything works fine, movies (divx 6 installed), photo's and music.

only when I want to watch some trailers and when I use the Uitzending gemist plugin (streaming video from the internet), the movies work well only they are in black and white.
audio is fine...

can anyone tell me where to look?

just for the record.
the sollution was changing back to an older driver.
the newest driver I used showed the overlay only in black and white.
an older driver from Nvidia did it much better.
