Black Screen but Sound? (1 Viewer)

Hi! I have a big problem. I have the newest MP release but when i want to play a .avi movie or something else my Screen play no Video but i hear the sounds of the movie. But when i start a DVD oder a image with Daemon Tools it works perfectly. The change of the decoder brings nothing. Can somebody help me?

have you installed ffdshow? should do the trick for you

Try to reduce the 3D-Filters. Best you put them to the lowest items first andthen switch to higher quality step by step.

That was the problem in my case.

I changed the Graphiccard and now it runs!

Sounds like the original problem might be related to the same ATI issue mentioned here.
