Hello,
I had the same problem after stand-by the screen went black.
I solved the problem by using the automatic login tool like tweakxp.

No black screens ever since.

But does it work from hibernate for you as well ?

I will try tweakxp and see, maybe its change som settings in the system.

I tried it yesterday from hibernate

I tried it yesterday with hibernate and have a black screen again.
So the automatic logon only works with stand-by.

Off topic: Does anyone know what i need to do to get My Alarm working?

When resuming from hybernation/s3 mode i only get a black screen. moving my mouse and waiting a while and mediaportal is back on screen.

if i'm playing media and i go to hybernation/s3 and do a resume mediaportal hangs up with 100% cpu load.

EDIT: no problem anymore with latest CVS!! Just some time to wait until screen apears.

Lets clear this out : this is definetly a bug in the 1.0.2. This does NOT happen anymore with the CVS.
Any display driver update won't help, just get the CVS.

The black screen problem still exists in version 0.1.3. Can't complain though, the rest of it is great! Keep up the good work!

I get a black screen also after coming out of hibernation in version 0.1.3pre.
It has been improved and now it only occurs when entering hibernation when media is playing. If media is stopped and the main screen is showing when going to hibernate, the black screen doesn't show.

Anyone can confirm this?

Hi,
Yes I can confirm that when PC comes out of hibernation the main screen is shown again (I was on the main screen) when it went to hibernate.

I have testet this as I want my pc to go into hibernation between the recordings, however it still only records for 5 minuttes and then goes back into hibernation.

Same for me. Black screen on resume and recordings are only 5min.

I do not have a problem with a black screen on resume if I check the "Hide task bar in full screen mode" box in Configuration . Does this solve the problem for anyone else?
