RC4 is looking sweet, except that when i use the "stretch" or "zoom" aspect ratio, the screen goes black. I can still hear the sound and if i right click, i can still get the menu to change aspect back to "normal", but there is no TV picture.

Aside from the above specs, i am running dual monitor - TV out @ 800x600 and HDMI @ 1280x720. POSSIBLY the dual screen setup is causing issues?

Issue remains whether i use MPV or PDVD8 codec for MPEG II.

Same problem here, any fix yet ?

EDIT
Tried a different codec, with PCM H264/AVC Decoder it works, with Cyberlink H.264/AVC Decoder(PCM45) it does not.

Try disabling one of the outputs and see if the same thing happens.

Which bits the same, 2 outputs, no video stretch\zoom, would help pinpoint things, also graphics :)

yep that did the trick. If i just run the TV out and disable the HDMI, it will do all aspect ratios. I cant leave it like this forever though :(

It looks like the driver is the cause of the issue then, atm there is no fix, but i know Ambass is interested in finding why this is happening particularly on ATI cards, Nvidia do not seem to have the same problem.

Problem was black screen with some aspect ratios on HD. Was OK with RC2 broken with RC4, fix was to use a different codec, see above.
