Hi, I have read lots of threads about my "black screen, only audio" problem, but I didn't find the answer yet.
When I set the decoder for the tv on Microsoft MPEG2 video decoder it works fine. The other 2 (FFDshow, MPV decoder) don't work.
But I can't play all my divx tv shows. I have different resolution divx files and also xvid files but none seam to work with the different decoders!
The strainge thing is that I have always used Vista Media Center with the decoders and it worked fine there?!?
So it seams the problem only apears in the MPplayer.
I tried different settings in FFDshow, different codec packs (K-lite, Vista Codecs, the latest FFDshow decoders) but nothing seams to work.
Does anyone know how to fix this? Because I'm getting desperate and I don't want to be forced to use VMC again!
Or is there a work around for this problem? For example use an external media player (withone would work?)
