Black screen when open Mediaportal (1 Viewer)

Hello,

since a few days I have a problem with StreamedMP. When I start Mediaportal, the screen is black (like you can see in the image bellow)

When I press the up/down/right/left button, I see the background again..

I have tried surveral things to solve it like diasabling the overlays, disable plugins, etc.. but without any result.

Does anyone has a suggestion what it can be?

Hmmm, so I'm not the only one.. For how long do you have this problem? Can you remember what you did changed before the problem appear? I can't ectually..

Well, your memory seems to be better than mine!

But you are right.. When I disable the updatecontrol plugin, the problem is solved..

I played a bit with the settings, and the problem only happend when I select the option: "start silent update search at startup"

So maybe this is your "problem" to..

I will report it to Micropolis, maybe he know a solution..

Dear fischy, powermarcel10,
the only solution for this problem is to introduce a delay between mediaportal startup and start of update search process. Is this a possible solution for you?

you need a new version of UpdateControl with a special configuration option, I can build this today in the evening.
