Yes.. BAD CABLING it was!! Hi everyone, I must deeeply appologize here for the developpers that may have broken their heads about my problem... It turned out to be just a matter of pulling a new quality Hirschman coax cable (15 meters). :ooops: :ooops: :sorry: Together with the signalamplifier I bought I now have a 100% signal strength and 100% signal quality.. did a complete rescan with Tv Server and voila! all channels working again! One disadvantage.. I had to remove the network cable first, and I cant get it back now, so I have no internet on my HTPC now.. typing this on my laptop right now... well ok, no sweat, I will buy a Vista compattible wireless card..or USB stick... I had one, but that one is not Vista compattible (it crashed my system) Again I am very sorry I did not think earlier about this, it first had to get so bad that I was triggered to the cable, channels were found before and therefore it was not so obvious that the cable was bad. :thx: Anyway anybody who has been trying to help me, thank you very much.. it is great that Mediaportal has such an active community helping eachother and is the main reason for me that I made the choice to go for this mediacenter software. No other MCE alternative has such an active and supportive community. Keep up the good work! Lots
