I've got a problem since I update my SVN for the latest, after few hours when I put my HTPC in standby or not, I don't see MP, the screen is black, I must close MP (with Alt F4) and I have access to my windows desktop, I restart MP an it works .
Do you have add a new functionality (screensaver) and how you can desactivate it.

I have also noticed that "Blank screen when MP in fullscreen is idle" (or something like that) also blanks screen when watching video now, it did not do so just a couple of weeks ago.
I have my Power settings in Windows to blank screen after 10 minutes, but MP overrided that in fullscreen video before.

Hi, I noticed this too. More, I leave the "Blank screen when MP in fullscreen is idle" option unchecked (I want to have monitor always turned on if MediaPortal is opened), but since a few SVNs monitor goes blank even if I'm watching movies or TV. My Windows settings are to turn off video after 3 minutes.

Hi, I've got more precision about my problem.
In fact, when I turn on the TV server, I hibernate my computer, when I wake up my computer I don't have any images, I have a black screen.
If I start MP without use the TV, I can hibernate and wake up my computer without problem.
I need your help !!!

This is usually driver related, are you initiating standby with a standby button, or is MP in homescreen via powerscheduler, change powerscheduler setting or try MCE standby tool.

please be more explicit in the steps you use to get this problem.

-MP start
-I launch the TVServer
-I watch TV
-I hibernate my computer when I finish to watch TV
-I wake up my computer
- I have a black screen but when I use my remote I hear the MP sound
-I must close this screen (alt F4) and start MP.

but when I don't use the TVServer (just my videos or another programs) I can hibernate it and wake up without problem.

Since it is possible to quit MP pressing Alt F4 (I gues ctrl/alt/del works too?) I doubt that this is a driver problem.

I don't remember seeing this behaviour in 0.2.1.x... I recently switched to 0.2.3.x

Having exactly the same problem here. Even after restarting mediaportal, the screen stays black... mediaportal is working though.
