Hello. I am having a strange issue. Everything works in VMR9 rendering mode except for certain episodes of Seinfeld (ripped from DVDs I own); when trying to watch these episodes I get a blank screen on both the DVD menu and the episode, but the sound is fine. When I switch to EVR rendering, both the audio and video are fine, but there is lots of screen tearing that I don't want. I'm running windows XP and an ATI HD3400 video card.
The only thing I can think of is that I used two different ripping programs--DVD decrypter and HDFAB--to rip the DVDs. I don't understand how some episodes play fine and others are only a blank screen, and why switching from VMR to EVR fixes it. Anyone have an idea?
