no codec packs installed (i will install klcodecpack later tho), no reclock either.
and i didnt change anything on my system - like i said, i just left MP in background and did something else, i think i was browsing some websites... meh when i returned, my tv was just gone! wtf!

edit:
i fixed my prob, i installed my new soundblaster audigy 2 videoeditor the day before, looks like this soundcard + MP = no love.
what i can't understand is the fact that it worked with this soundcard for several hours, and then just stopped working while still being used!!!

No, don't install a codec pack. that is the worst thing you can do. Once those are installed no one can help you.

Hi algee, glad to see you fixed your problem. Each movie format has a particular splitter/codec/decoder that will play it. Once you start mixing dozens of them in, then it is impossible to figure out exactly what is going on. Much like Blight (the author of zoomplayer) if I see someone has a codec pack installed, I will not help them. There are too many variables at that point. This isn't your fault, or the codec pack writers fault. The MSoft technology is very difficult to deal with. Its as if they never anticipated there being more than one filter for each type of file. If you put in a bit of effort, you can easily find all of the decoders/splitters you need without screwing up your system. Good luck.
