Hi all,
I have just switched to MP from MCE, got sick and tired of weird crashes and all the weird errors in MCE. MP is so customisable, with a more thorough documentation, it will be a breeze to set up. Once I got all my problems sorted, I am planning to contribute to some of the missing documentation.
I have configured MP with DVB-T FTA as well as Foxtel (pay tv STB) via SVHS in.
I have also downloaded the latest myblaster plugin from the plugin download page, and I have run blaster.exe to learn the commands.
When I press the test button in blaster.exe, my Foxtel STB receives the signal and the blaster bud connected to port 2 of the MCE IR receiver flashed a couple of times...
However, under guide, if I change channel to one of the foxtel channel, the IR blaster did not flash at all.
I have configured all the channels to control the signal via STB and has also given the right channel numbers.
One particular error in Mediaportal.log concerned me...:
2/10/2006 6:50:49 PM Recorder: tv channel changed:ANIMAL
2/10/2006 6:50:49 PM MyBlaster.Send: '615'
2/10/2006 6:50:49 PM MyBlaster.Send: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
I have followed the instruction in this thread to the letter to no avail:

If anyone can help, it would be very much appreciated
Thanks
Edward
