The refresh rate of at least one Blu-ray movie cannot be detected when launched via Moving Pictures 1.4.2 (MediaPortal 1.3 Beta). When I start it directly from MediaPortal there's no problem.
The movie's frame rate is 23,976 and the display should be switched to 24Hz.

    One movie:
    Code:
    2013-01-26 14:05:46.812905 [Debug][MPMain(1)]: g_Player.Play - Mediatype Unknown, forcing detection as Video

    Other movie:

With other movies there's no problem.
Does anyone has an idea why?

According to your logs Disc #1 is played from E:\BDMV\.... so i assume that's a physical disc?
Disc #2 is played from D:\videos\.... so that seems a local rip/copy.

If the above assumption is correct, do you use a decrypter?
MediaPortal now fully supports playing unencrypted Blu-ray discs (with the exception of BD-J discs using Java menus - for which MediaPortal will display a list of Titles for the user to access instead of displaying the Java menus). If the user wishes to play a commercial disc, then they will need to use a 3rd party on-the-fly decrypter such as AnyDVD HD or DVDFab Passkey Lite.

Yes, I'm using AnyDVD to watch Blu-rays with MediaPortal. Decription and playback are working.

Well, then i'm intended to point the finger to the disc that's not working, since the rest does work for you.
If it's a physical disc, you could try to rip it to disc with AnyDVD HD and see if that changes things for you.

As I said when I open the same disc directly with MediaPortal the refresh rate is switched correctly. So I think there must be a dependency from Moving Pictures.

Thank you, that did the trick!
Irretating that The DVD setting also is valid for Blu-ray-Discs. And strange that playing the disc directly with MediaPortal even works with the MediaInfo setting disabled. Moving Pictures shows the refresh rate correctly in its movie database.

DVD and Blu-ray share some part of code.
Surely Movpic relay on this option.
From MyVideo it should be same but maybe there is some addon for it :)
Good to know that it works for you.

Ok I could solve my problem by myself. The logs said that the delimiter of that song is not in text form. Although it was already in text form and I deleted the music database, the title information was still not available. I ripped the song again and now it works. I think that something went wrong the first time.

Sorry for the late response. In my experience, the EPG grabbing of a single transponder takes 2 to 3 minutes. Afterwards it takes 1 to 2 minutes to write the data to disk. To speed up the EPG stuff (not only writing but also reading the EPG guide in MediaPortal), I changed the program table (and only that table) from InnoDB to...
