    Hi all

i have been trying to get my blu ray disk to play inside MP, so far with no success I would rather not use the external player if i can help it

i have read the wiki and also search these forums but so far nothing has been able to help.

At the moment the Blu-Ray is imported to moving pictures fine, but when i try to play the movie it tell me unable to play file 00000.m2ts Audio Codec:

i have tried to change the different video and audio codec to powerdvd9 however its still no success.

Has anyone come across this problem before?

    thanks for all your help!

    cheers

    Hi

MediaPortal doen not natively support blu-ray.
There are currently 2 solutions for integration in MP:
    Arcsoft player
    PowerDVD

Configuring Bluray and HDDVD playback - Moving Pictures

this is the solution im trying to get working

currently I have the power dvd solution working well by editing the keymap.ini file this works well but its not as intergrated as i would have liked

    cheers

What happens when you encounter a blu-ray with multiple m2ts files or seamless branching. The link you posted is just configuring media portal to play single m2ts files. Stick with your external player there is no integrated solution that will work with all blu-rays.

Sorry there is a solution, if you rip your blu-rays to a single mkv file with flac audio the internal player works just fine.

But why don't You play m2ts? Just install coreAVC decoder and add known extension m2ts in MP
Yes it's not so smart solution but any DVD and BD extras menus etc are completely useless from my opinion...

Like I said in my previous post, not all blu-rays are a single m2ts file for the main movie.

hmm ok thanks for all you help guys ill stick with the external player for now.

maybe the doco should be updated to show the issue with using the internal player

also about the codec I have added the extention to MP and im using the latest beta of SAF for the codec but no go.

Anyway like i said ill stick with PowerDVD for now

    thanks all!
