Have you tried 'reset config data' in your MB bios.

If that fails turn off pc and unplug from mains, then reset the bios, clear cmos (always previously make a note of any speacial bios settings you had that you may wish to reuse lest you forget)

yeah tried. Have ordered a Hauppage WinTV M1100 TV Tuner, DVB-T as its compatible with Media Portal... I may also do a soft install
