I installed the last build of Summer Release yesterday on my HTPC with 70" LCD. Before it was only on my Working PC.
Generally BV looks really great, but I faced 2 things:
    • Edge radius of poster shadows is not completely align with the one from poster itself. (On my 24" screen connected to working PC, evreything looks fine though)
    • MP2/BV reacts really slow on commands by remote control. Is this a general problem or maybe my remote control only?

To everybody you tried/tries, could you please let me know, if you face same things.

I can't confirm this. Running this build since few days now without issue. Does it happen only in specific screens?

    Hi.

There are a few situations where it didn't react as fast as I would like it. But that is related to other things, not to remote or BV skin. The reasons are mainly loading gfx from other drives than the system SSD or looking for a NAS that is offline atm (if you want to add or refresh media shares). The first reason will be solved with the MIA rework automatically and the second one only is if a system with a media source is not available when you want to refresh or add/remove shares. If all systems are online than it's really fast and fluid as we wanted it to be.

And the other issue about shadows I can't confirm on my 42" Tv...

By the way. Just about you not getting bored...;)
After SR15 is out I would love to have some "extra" buttons. First is a button in OSD linked to the CP screen This would make things easier a lot and should not be too hard to implement. And I also would love to have buttons (maybe in hidden menu) to refresh the recent shares. E.G. when I'm somewhere in the series section I want to have a button to manually refresh the series share(s) directly from here.

Tell your W: TV is never too big - it's the room that's too small !
Hehe, thats right ;) My living room has 84 sm, so the distance between sofa and TV is ok for 70" :)

But it's good to hear, that nobody else can confirm this! I'll try figure out, if there can be something about aspect or size ...

My system is brand new with a SSD and super fast network. Sometimes I had to press 2 times a button until a reaction came ... At first I'll change the batteries of my remote control, just remember it must be also 1 year ago since last change ;) then I see further.
