BV is already in a good stage with the Summer Release '15. But of course there is still a way to go to release a final version of the skin.

Here the points, that I plan to implement. Since lot of points need support from Devs, especially their feedback would be beneficial

1. Improved Group Main Menu (Better design and less space consuming)
   • 
     
   • Centered Focused Button
     
   • Scrolling moves the buttons
     
   • In total only 5 buttons are fully shown, the outer buttons are partly visible.
2. Implementation of Menu Button, that opens the hidden Context Menus. The style is analog to the Power Button. Idea is analog to start Button, just MP2 icon is used (Improved Usebility) (DONE)
   
3. Implementation of MIA Rework
   • Relationship between 'Songs and their Album' and 'Series/Season/Episode'
   • Fanart and Description for Audio
   • Descriptions, Ratings etc. for Series, Seasons
4. Extended Flag System (Currently only Un-/Watched flags are used for MediaItems)
   • Additional flag for Party Watched in Series/Seasons or Albums
   • Additional flags for New and Favourite
5. New Currently Playing screens and Player OSD system (DONE)
   • Currently Playing button in Group Menu (only if a MI is playing), selection opens CP screen
     
   • Player OSD is visible in Footer only in CP screen (no overlapping with content infos)

7. Others
   • Visual Indicator, when MP2 is recording

@ge2301 : Ist es möglich die aktuelle Auswahl in Dialogen hervorzuheben? Dann kann ich z.B. sehen welche Audio- oder Untertitelspur oder welches Kapitel gerade aktiv sind.

It is already implemented in Titan skin ->

hi not sure if this has been asked? but as a feature is it possible to implement a way of completely disabling all fanart/thumbnails. and on the video area extend the text to fill across the screen? let me know if you need more info or i can mock up a screen shot? thank you

You mean something like a carousel control for the main menu?
I guess this might solve all the issues we had with the auto select feature.

Hi.
Especially 2. is very important as lots of people having issues to find the "hidden menu" as it is hidden too good... And if I understand this right, this is nothing that depends on MIA Rework or C# coding...
Personally I'm desperately waiting for 4. Also the current "filter by (un)watched" is very helpful I really need those flags.
One concern about 1. If this is working in an endless loop, how will we navigate to the "Power" and "Hidden- Menu" buttons with remote then? We are on a really good way regarding navigation and this can be a huge step backwards, if we are not careful enough.

I also realized this afterwards I'll have to reconsider this. On the other hand I'd really prefer to have the focus always in center.

Thanks for the mockup! Now it's clear what you mean
There is no plan to skip the Fanart. The % could be a feature, but currently also the code behind does not support this. But especially for a series it can be helpful. If I add only a partly watched icon, it can be 1% or 99% watched.
The number of watched times is also not planned. I wonder what the benefit is? Is it important, if I watched the 86% at once or 3 times?
You could add your changes by your own theme of course. I can tell you where you have to change code.

the 3 times would be useful if watching a tv series or rewatching as you can tell how many times you have watch and it give you an idea were you are up to as you see all 3 then 2 you know thats is the next episode.

"fanart" is that the big picture(on right hand side) and little picture(left hand side) when you rollover the filename?
yes can you tell me where i can edit to remove this?
