Does this new animated skinning engine store the fonts somewhere else?

One step was left out. After making any change to the fonts.xml file, you need to delete the contents of the fonts directory for the skin you are trying to change (i.e. ../BlueTwo/fonts). When you restart mp, the splash screen will pause a little longer on "Initializing Fonts" because mp is regenerating the fonts files using the new fonts.xml. Animations and changing the fonts should have nothing to do with one another.

Just to be sure, i'm going to edit the old bluetwo 1280x720 thread to remove any links, then try to get the download of the old skin off the repository page.
