Blue3: please add a more "professional" touch... (3 Viewers)

I am go to upload this skin as Blue 3 Retro, pictures attached.

Can also have Blue Two background colour.

Have changed some layouts, font sizes and colours. Also changed the height of the back slide.

Going to load onto my HTPC and see how it looks on the plasma, may change some more colours on the TV Guide.

Used the old icon on the Home Screen, although the MediaPortal label, as on the Home Basic screen looks quite good.

Kept the new buttons on the Home Screen, because they looked better, with this background colour.

I'm unsing Blue Two... Mainly for compatability... But what I have done is take some of the Blue3 aspects, like darker background, the 3d menus and basically the nice stuff... Will post some links of my Blue2 skin.... See what you guys think..

Sorry for not responding for such a long time (unfortunately I'm currently quite busy).

Your new skin (with the BlueTwo man) looks REALLY nice!!!
If you don't mind, I would like to give it a try (even thou I have similar concerns as thesystemera - compatibility is always an issue ...)
Could you please upload it to the forum, please?

Going more retro with the Home Screen, will load files tomorrow.

Possibly change Home Basic as well.

Uploading new version tomorrow, accidentally deleted MP Logo on Home screen. Will also incorporate font changes for better readability. May incorporate a second media folder, with a different colour back slide, for people who want to use the Blue Two background colour.

Changed Home screen, used old Mepo's, changed some font sizes and colours, also changed some layouts and the height of the back slide.

Version 2.1

Minor change to Home screen, moved menu box slightly, and minor change to scheduling screen.

If you have installed an earlier version of the skin, please delete it first and be sure you have deleted the skincachefolder.

Delete the cache folder in;
ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache (Vista)
Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache (Windows XP)

These are hidden folders.
