Hi,

I have RC2 installed on above system, happily sending audio over SP/DIF to my home cinema receiver. I wanted to have music in another room (<10m away), so I searched and found a bluetooth speaker set (Logitech Z-500). Plug in the dongle and it just works! Unfortunately, it works by replacing the primary sound device in the Control Panel Sounds settings.

In MediaPortal config, you can select which sound device you want to send audio to. There is no possibility to choose 2 sources simultaneously, therefore I searched for answers.
The Winamp Multiple Output plugin does what it says on the tin, it outputs sound to both sets of speakers simultaneously. However, it only works in winamp and there's a 1sec lag between the speakers.
I've tried to enable the Winamp plugin in Mediaportal config, no errors there, but the actual output doesn't seem to be playing via Winamp.

Enter Foobar2000. I found a page regarding output to two simultaneous devices using the ASIO driver. Luckily, I have a Chaintech AV710 that supports ASIO.
The page tries to explain what steps need to be taken to get this working, but I got stuck. In the channel map, I see 8 channels for my Chaintech card (in fact an 8-channel card), however I use a 5.1 system over SP/DIF. How should the channels be selected?
Lastly, enabling foobar player in Mediaportal Config gives an error, stating that foobar2000 cannot be found. However, I don't know where the app is searching.

Conclusion: no workable solution yet, for what it seems a trivial issue: output sound on two devices simultaneously.
