    Re: Bluray Handler 0.9.3 (BETA)

Just installed MovingPictures SVN (1.0.4.1096) and that fixes this problem. Movies start fullscreen again ;)

Where can I get that SVN? Or do u know a release date for it with that svn included?

You need to compile it yourself from the source code.
No idea when they're gonna release a new version, but that can't be too long with RC5 planned in a few days ;)

I have the plugin running, however "Play Disc" from the menu is not working, so I have to enable autoplay (which I don't like) to use this plugin. Any suggestions what could be wrong?

    Thanks.

Two additional things I want to share.

1.) DVDFab Passkey is working quite well with this plugin to playback encrypted blu-rays (Hopefully posting this info here does not violate forum rules). The plugin is currently beta and so can be used for free until August 2010.

2.) I have a Receiver not supporting the new HD audio formats (only DD and DTS). To pass through non-HD DTS (which is also part of every blue-ray) to my receiver via SPDIF I had to use the "MPC - MPA audio decoder". All other decoders I tried (ffdshow, MS Win7, AC3Filter) did not work.

    Cheers

    hi there ...

öhm sitting here ... beating myself that i didn't found that thread earlier :D

    just a (maybe) stupid question:

how important is the use of SAF 5.0 (experimental)?
it is prio 1? absolut necessary?

couse all my machines have SAF 4 Stable ...
and they run with a real good picture-quality...
BUT i like to have that plugin running ...

do i really need to change to SAF 5.0?
    it is a better choice?

i read that some have the SAF4 running (page 2 and 3 of the thread)...

short info would be nice ...

    BIG :D

The question is, can you play *.m2ts files with SAF4? I think the answer is "yes", so the plugin also should work with SAF4!
Depending on the MP-version you are running, perhaps you have to add "*.m2ts" in the video-section of MP config for the case you cant play the m2ts-files.

    perfekt interpretiert @ robhawk ...

    thx ... i switch between 1.0.2 and RC4 ...
depends in the machine i am using.

i still added *.m2ts a few weeks ago so that should fit and work. :)

    Big :D again

Just trying the Cyberlink PDVD10 (clsid: D00E73D7-06F5-44F9-8BE4-B7DB191E9E7E) video codec with this plugin/MP.
... but MP does not use this filter for VC1 on Win7 when running a BD with this plugin.
The plugin in general is running good but only uses the internal VC1 windows codec.
I already set the PDVD10 codec as preferred codec for VC1 in Win7 but with no effect.

If i use graphstudio to create a graph for the main m2ts file from the BD manually with PDVD10 it works fine.
(Automatic rendering of a this file will always choose the internal windows codec for the video stream cause graphstudio always starts with the standard video renderer not with EVR which is needed by PDVD10 codec. -> so my simple way to test was to remove the video codec and the standard video renderer from the automatic graph and add the PDVD10 codec together with EVR, connect the graph and go ->> runs fine)

Has someone a good idea how to get PDVD10 VC1 running with MP/Bluray Handler?

I would even request from the MP guys to add in the MP config filter section a line to select the preferred VC1 codec!
    -> especially for this plugin.:D

I'm currently looking in to allowing the user to select the required codecs in the configuration untill MP supports it natively.

    Good idea!

And what about selecting the Audio language in the configuration?
As far as i understood you hardcoded it in the sources to English. ;-)

    Re: Bluray Handler 0.9.3 (BETA)

Well the plugin doesn't even have to deal with selecting audio language so nothing is hardcoded there.

or is it poosible like the normal DVD-Replay to choose language?
