I have never tried saf, so i dont know... (I always try to keep codec at a minimum, and only what i need) But i think ffdshow support lpcm.
In my experience its often better to try and fail with codecs that has support then using a codec pack that you doesent have fully controll over version, and the amount of codecs.
but have in mind... cyberlink make some funny noises, stuttering and such for me, even when it where uninstalled... (and that on a fresh windows install)

    Got another request.

Isn't it a good idea to add a VC1 codec handling in the codec config page of MP configuration dialog for this Blu-Ray plugin?
-> This could be a possibility to avoid setting the codecs for Video section to autodetect.

    Re: Bluray Handler 0.9.3 (BETA)

Anyone tried the Automatic Refreshrate switcher? With videos, DVDs, live TV, etc. it switches perfectly to the correct refreshrate. But when inserting a Bluray it doesn't switch to the correct refreshrate, it doesn't do anything it just uses the current refreshrate.

Anyone else got the same problem?

It works without any problems for me as well, from both Play DVD shortcut and MovingPictures.

When i'm starting a blu-ray, they all start in the OSD, instead of fullscreen. Anybody else having that issue?
If i disable the plugin, they start fullscreen.

MPC filters, MPC Video codec & ffdshow audio decoder.

Yes. Same here. Not a really big problem tho..

Will this plugin ever make it possible to also get the whole menu structure?

OK, then it must be plugin related.

I think that won't be possible before MediaPortal 2, if that ever gets in because i assume that's a LOTT of coding ;)

Same here. Only on RC3 not on RC1! Pity.
