    AW: Bluray Handler 0.9.6 (BETA)

I have the same Issue but this is a problem with BluRay`s with VC-1 as codec.

I think the Mpegsplitter.ax is the big problem.

    Re: Bluray Handler 0.9.6 (BETA)

    Hi everyone,
I was wandering if anyone could help me regarding the Blu-ray playing. I got myself a Blu-ray player, put in my HTPC, downloaded the BDhandler, read every instructions many times. Ended with codec proplems, so I did have to install W7 again. Used SAF5.0 codecs, so there is no other codecs on my machine, everything plays fine inside the MePo. Now it tries to play the blu-ray disc, but I always get an error. This is from the Mediaportal log, if anyone could understand what is happening,

    Hi :)
I'm maybe wrong, but it maybe be related to audio codec, i have seen that a lot of time.
It would be great to see if it's work under Graphstudio :)

    Re: Bluray Handler 0.9.6 (BETA)

but the first thing i recognized is that die plugin is now visible in the MP Config but Im just able to enable oder disable the plugin, nothing else like configure... Is this right?

    Yes, this is correct.

Next Problem is that I can play the Bluray files (copied on my hdd, one bluray in iso format without copy protection and one in folder format) in PowerDVD9 (after an update) and MediaPlayer Classic without any problems but in MP - and it doesnt matter if i choose the index file or the biggest stream file - nothing happens, there is only a second where it seems to play but then it goes back to directory menu.

Have you tried playing a Bluray without this plugin? You should be able to play Bluray movies without this plugin. If you can't, you'll probably have a codec/splitter issue.

OK something weird happened when I tried this... I disabled die Plugin and tried to play the index files, but i got an error like "Cant play index.bdmv", ok I thought i also could try to play the stream file directly but now the weird things happened. One disc is copied on hdd as an .iso without cp. When I tried to play the biggest stream file nothing happened. It goes still back to the viewlist, but if I played any other stream (like menu videos or intros) it works perfectly

The second disc is also on my hdd but its no .iso and as far as I know with cp. (anydvd was disabled)
I also tried to play these files and again I clicked on the biggest stream file and.... it worked - with some crazy backround noise - but the video worked and the other stream files(menu, intro) worked also (this time with the right audio)
I tried to change the audio while playing the movie but if i changed it the playing stopped.

Then I enabled the plugin again and I could play all the intro and menu videos, but this time no movie worked. What the hell is that?
Without the plugin it works in some cases but with creepy audio and with it nothing works???!

Can you tell me where to put the .ax file? Im using win xp...

register it to windws (registry-service) with left click on the file

    in deutsch:

    kopiers nach C:\windows\system32
da liegen viele codecs - bzw WO der codec im endeffect liegt ist zweitrangig.
hauptsache er bleibt nach dem registrieren da WO er registriert wurde :D

    -links-klick
    -öffnen mit
    -Microsoft(C)Registerserver

    EDIT-says:

    English:

    put it into C:\windows\system32
there are also several codecs in this directory
    - all in all it is not so important WHERE the codec-file (*.ax) is on your HDD -
it is more important that it it will stay in the directory from which of it is registred.

ok I tried it but nothing changed... Is there any other configuration I have to do before this works? Maybe in the MP Config?
    This is sooo frustrating...

    using a BR-Disk - or a file in BluRay Formt on HardD-Disk?

if u use BR-Handler it needs the right structure @ files on HDD
(had the same problem a few post earlier) - maybe thats it @ your PC .. :)

    just B2T :D

    @ armand

i just did another test with a BR from usene**
it is "charly and the choclate-factory" (jonny depp version)
has the same structure than a BR - only smaler (about 8GIG)
but MePo allways say "index.bdmv" not playable"

m2ts and bdmv extensions are in MePo Config
also the latest BRHander 0.9.6 ...
    SAF5 beta1

    any idea

    PS:

i can start the movie out of Windows (MPC-HC)
when i use the 0000.mpls works fine ...
    i can't start it with the index.bdmv
under MePo nothing happens either i use mpls or bdmv

Your screenshot shows an incorrect Bluray folder-structure. You need to add the BDMV & CERTIFICATE folder first.

    Correct Blu-ray Folder Structure:
    Code:
    BDMV ----------------------------------- AUXDATA
CERTIFICATE ------------- BACKUP BACKUP ------------ BDJO
                                             BDJO CLIPINF
                                             CLIPINF PLAYLIST
                                             JAR
                                             META
                                             PLAYLIST
                                             STREAM

    Re: Bluray Handler 0.9.6 (BETA)

Hi yeah I recognized this, but I think my structure is right...

The .iso is without cp and has the following structure:
    Any!
    BDMV
    Certificate

The subfolders are the same as posted by you.

The other disc is with cp I think and the structure is the following:
    BDMV
    Certificate

I also installed today the newest beta of SAF 5. Before that I was using the stable ver. 4.0. But nothing changes except that my avi files didnt play right... so I went back to 4.0
