AW: Re: Bluray Handler 0.9.3 (BETA)

BTW, the latest version(s) of the mpegsplitter from MPC-HC have big issues with MP in many cases.
I found out that the earlier versions worked better, for example i am using svn1804.
This version also works with PDVD9 and PDVD10 codecs.

At the moment there is no way to play Blurays with their menu..

But I don't know why! Is there any difference to the one on DVDs or the movie files on the bluray?

I think there is no technical limitation if you have a BD without CP.
It simply has to be implemented by someone and this seems to be a huge effort.

    OK very big thanks!

    Another question:

If I play any BD the graph is build with the codec setted under Video->MPEG Video Decoder?

    Why?

Are you building the graph, or is it MePo which builds it?
Isn't it time to create a own BD tab in Settings of MePo?

Sorry bad dll :( i'm too quick lol

This is the good one :)
This is also filter (MPC Video that work for VC-1 Bluray) : MPC Filter Beta

    Cheers,
    Seb.

    Hi Sebastiii,

this patched filter is the only one for me which works well with VC-1 video inside of BluRay structures.
All other filters cause stuttering and slow video playback (H264 is of course working well).
I assume that you have integrated a patch, which solves the timestamp bug of VC-1 files.
Is there a chance to integrate your patch also in new ffdshow versions for VC-1 playback (e.g. as an "click-option") ?

Many thanks for your good work.

    Hi,

I have found an issue with MPEG Splitter for BD seamless with video H264(AVC) and VC-1. But i didn't find the way to fix it (i know what we have to do to make it work) but my knowledge in CPP is near to 0 lol.

So can you try this build ? (work OK on my PC for VC1 and with ffdshow, but the bug with h264 is always here).
    MpegSplitter(fix1).rar
    Cheers,
    Seb.

    Hi,

You can try this version of the splitter, normally it fix the issue with Iron Man 2 for example.
You can follow my post on doom9 :

    Cheers,
    Seb.

    Re: Bluray Handler 0.9.6 (BETA)

Ive got still a problem playing blurays in MP... Maybe someone can help?

Im using Win XP SP3 with the latest MP Version and SAF 4.0 Stable, configured like writen in the SAF Thread. I copied the dll file to the plugins/proces folder, but the first thing i recognized is that die plugin is now visible in the MP Config but Im just able to enable oder disable the plugin, nothing else like configure... Is this right?

Next Problem is that I can play the Bluray files (copied on my hdd, one bluray in iso format without copy protection and one in folder format) in PowerDVD9 (after an update) and MediaPlayer Classic without any problems but in MP - and it doesnt matter if i choose the index file or the biggest stream file - nothing happens, there is only a second where it seems to play but then it goes back to directory menu.

I started also Graphstudio while playing the files in MP Classic and the video decoder used is MPC video decoder. But this is right as far as I understood, but why it isnt working in MP?

Hope somebody can help and im sorry if my english isnt so well

Edit: I forgot to say that I can choose from a "feature list" when I try to play the streams or index file, but in any case it goes back to the directory

    Re: Bluray Handler 0.9.6 (BETA)

This almost works perfectly for me apart from 1 thing. When I first put a disc in, dvdfab starts to scan it etc. and I get a dialogue box pop up in MP saying it can't play it. Then about 10 second later the window appears asking me which feature to play. It seems it's trying to instantly play the disc before it's been decrypting. Anyway to stop this?

    Yes, this is correct.

Have you tried playing a Bluray without this plugin? You should be able to play Bluray movies without this plugin. If you can't, you'll probably have a codec/splitter issue.
