Hi there maybe I got lost..

but which one is now the actual beta??? .27 or .29 and what do you recommend

    actually I use

MPEGSplitter with vc-1-tweak and powerdvd to get dxva supported decoding

what will happen with this when I switch to LAV 0.21 with bdhandler???

    Regards Robertino

    Hi,

    It's the .27 but effectively tagged @ .29.
LAVF has a better support now for BD Seamless and bug fixes than MPEGSplitter and normally it's working with PDVD (for me yes).
But if you are happy with MPEGSplitter :) no need to change :)
    Regards,
    Seb.

    dumb question what is BD-Seamless???

And I know but do you think that real BD support will come to MePo???

At least like my tvix box with a kind of chapter menu... and cleartext language selection ..instead of 16355 or similar like right now???

    Regards Robertino

BD-Seamless = Seamless Branching where the movie on a disc exists of multiple .m2ts streams (mostly used on discs that have 2 different versions of the movie on it (Theatrical & Extended Cut for example)).

BDHandler already has chapter support (textual) and perfect audio/subtitle language selection options.

The last time I used it with Moving pictures.. I always got in the Audio context menu... only numbers... so I was totally confused...

    Where was I wrong???

No idea what was wrong about that setup, but i can tell you that my audio/subtitle menu shows all languages available (and my prefered settings for audio/subtitles are also working).

It showed cleartext language names.. instead of numbers?

I just installed MPEGSplitter, PowereDVD, Blurayhandler and the VC-1 Tweak to get PowerDVD connected to MPEGSplitter and DXVA

    no codec packages or similar..
