    Hi Michael,

Does it work also with .mpls (00000.MPLS normally yes) outside of MP.
Can you try with other Decoder setting in MP too ?
On my Vmware WIN7, i have installed MP1.1.3, BDHandler latest version above (release.rar) PDVD Codec and LAVAaudio + LAVSplitter. (see screenshot)

When i start BD, i have playlist choice and after select the right playlist, it start the movie.
Also try to setup in LAVF : Subtitle Selection Mode to "No Subtitle"
I didn't understand what is happening, here it's works :)

    Code:

You were right! playing bdmv worked in Graphstudio, mpls did not work. Used your mpls_x64 reg and now mpls works in Graphstudio as well - and Mediaportal works, too :)

With one exception: Now the freezing in MovingPictures is back. I can chose the chapter and then PM just freezes (have to ctrl-alt-del). Absolutely nothing special in the logs. Only regular Blurays work. Any idea?

    Thanks, Michael

Edit: Forgot to mention that ffdshow now caused a lot of stutter and framdrops (only got about 7fps). changed it to cyberlink and didn't have any problem anymore...

When you choose Chapter, you talk about chapter in movie NEXT/PREV ?

We can play only BD unprotect or use tool like anyDVD.

Can you try LAF SVN in the above post to see any change ?
    Seb.

    Hi Seb,

thanks so much - mercie bien! Your last SVN-version solved the Moving Pictures problem. I deregistered LAV-Splitter and LAV-Audio, copied the SVN-files from your post above over the old files and re-registered LAV-Splitter and LAV-Audio.

Now it works for physical BluRays and for ISOs in Moving Pictures. I'm using the Cyberlink codecs and with these also the strange behaviour for DTS-Master, DTS and Dolby TrueHD is gone. I can switch between different audio streams, skip forward and backward without any problems and no matter what format the audio stream is.

There are only two (for me very minor) problems left:

    1. When I use ffdshow dxva instead of cyberlink, the playback is still very choppy (still about 7fps). This may have something to do with me using the older ffdshow version from SAF 5.0 final. I'll therefore stick with Cyberlink for now.
    2. Independent from my favourite audio language settings in MPConfig, now always the first audio track is played, i.e., although I have "German" as favourite language, the last Bluray tested started with the japanese audio track, because this was the first one. I had to switch to German manually. I read something in the LAV thread that they changed some priorities for audio tracks. Maybe it's connected with this change. But as long as I can solve it with my remote, I'm fine :)

However, those two things are not important for me now. I'd be very glad, if either Hoborg could integrate LAV-Splitter in SAF 6 or if it was integrated into BDHandler. Playing Blurays today is a must have for htpc-users (at least from my point of view...). The easier this works in MP, the more people will join the MP community.

Conclusion: I'm happy for now. I'll watch the further development of BDHandler and LAV with interest. Thanks so much for your help. MP wouldn't be so great without developers taking the time to help their users - and all this for free (If you should be in Frankfurt some time, drop me a message - I owe you at least one beer ;) ).

    Keep up the great work,
    Michael

    Hi Michael :)

I'm happy it's works for you :) and i hope for other user too :)
So now i need to make a thread with all correct binaries, more easier to someone want to try :)
Can you test the ffdshow.ax to see if it solve slow fps :)
To make no conflict, open your actual FFDShow and "export all setting", uncompress the .rar and only register ffdshow.ax.
To revert to the one of SAF, unreg the one rar and reg the one from SAF dir :)

About default Language, i need to see why, i know that on my HTPC, i have see this :
WIN7 is French, but i have set English in MP, it didn't get my default setting, but when i have put French in MP -> it's OK. Try to play with this setting, or for example if your WIN7 is English, try to set English in MP.
    Thanks,
    Seb

I keep in memory for the beer lol :)

found this follow your link sebastiii from doom9 forum: "Now, don't ask me why playback is still broken with ffdshow. I hope someone else can shed some light on this." Changed all to cyberlink and everything works like a charm now :) :) :)

Hi :) try attached Lavf, Nevcairiel seems to fix it :)
    Seb.

Ps : With FFDShow, i have a crash, do avoid it, need to setup in lavsplitter - No Subtitle in Subtitle Selection Mode :)

works with ffdshow now, but not for audio decoder. I'm using LAV Audio decoder fot that.
Still have problems playing some VC-1 and that depends on the used audio. only DTS-HD works. The rest (True HD, DTS) fails.

    Bluray Handler for MP 1.1.3
Current version for using with LAVF Splitter (BETA)

    Installation

1- Unzip the archive and copy the DLL into the "Mediaportal/plugins/proces" folder. (Make sure the plugin is enabled in your configuration (default should be enabled) normally).
2- Add .bdmv extension in MP Configuration
3- Unzip LAVSplitter and unregister and register it. (Import mpls_x64 and bdmv_x64 reg for 64bits WIN7 or mpls_x86 and bdmv_x86 for 32bits WIN7 in your registry)
4- If Using FFDShow -> Need to setup in splitter setting lavsplitter - "No Subtitle" in Subtitle Selection and disable (uncheck) in FFDShow Audio (Decoder Options) "Enable jitter correction" to avoid issue in BD Seamless.

    Seb.

Ps : Armand will look my patch etc. later :)

I'm working an a patch to add VC1 and VC1-i codec setting in MP (It actually works on my BD list but the patch need to be review and maybe it will be added to the next version og MP 1.3.0 :) )

But for now, it was working with BDH and MPC Splitter ?
I know that i get Bitstream Audio with FFDShow, but i didn't test on 1.1.3.

    Hi Seb,

Tried your ffdshow Svn Version, but unfortunately Playback was still choppy. Just tried in graphstudio and CPU was between 10 and 20% so dxva Must have Been used. Made sure that your Version was used by checking the path. But maybe this is something particular with my System. If it Works for others I'm Fine.

Let me Know if I can do anything Else for you.

    Michael
