BluRay problems in 1.5 (1 Viewer)

Installed MP 1.5 and trying to get the BluRay play working, but without success.

In short, the disc is recognised in MP but refuses to play (comes up with the autoplay question on insert, but then just says disc cannot be played).

System is a clean-build of MP 1.5 on Windows 7. I've had the machine playing BluRay (using a 3rd party player under XP) prior to the rebuild, so I know both the disc and drive are OK.

Can anyone suggest what might be the problem?

Which format does the movies have?
Which movie plugin do you use? Moving pictures, myfilms...
Did you try the default skin?

Is the BluRay copy-protected/encrypted or not? If yes, do you use one of the recommended (and needed) 3rd party software to bypass this?
