BluRay with MP and PowerDVD (2 Viewers)

Hi, sorry for the banal question, but with this plugin you can handle even the bluray and bluray 3d iso?

as long as your hardware is ready for 3d and you use PowerDVD 10 the plugin can handle it.

We have a little issue on 64-bit OS. HD Starter.dll is not recognized correctly. I have had a look around already what to do, but was not succesful at all. I hope I can find a solution over the weekend. Sorry for that

Does it run with MP 1.1.2?
The Screen blanked Out for 1sec an MP came back again.

it runs with MP 1.1.2 on Win XP SP3 (nVidia-graphic). Haven't tried it yet on Win 7 32 Bit. Have an issue on Win 7 64 Bit

I did a test this afternoon.

Win7/64
MP 1.1.2 Window-Mode
PowerDVD 9
all HD-Starter-Files are copied in the plugins/Windows-folder

I started MP, after that I startet HD_Starter.exe manually out of the folder. MP terminated, PDVD started. I closed PDVD via exit-Button. PDVD terminated, MP started.

That means: HD_Starter works fine on Win7/64 but not within MP. There must be an issue in the Config-Pgm. Where can I find the settings of MP created by the config-program?

After some investigations I finally found a thread on this great forum which has Multishortcut as a subject. There I found a new Multishortcut-Installer and so I was able to create a new, working HD Starter.dll

It works on my Win7/64 bit machine flawlessly. The config-window is slightly different but self-explaining. In the first section you have to fill in only the path to HD_Starter.exe. In the last section you must fill in the path to your hover and the caption of the button in MP. Leave all the rest untouched.

Replace the provided HD Starter.dll in your plugins/Windows-folder
I uploaded a new zip-file in the first post

Eagle Hello, I have a problem and I hope in your help.
I downloaded the file HD_Starter post # 16,I followed the instructions to the first post but when I launch an ISO file is open in interrnal player of mediaportal and not POWERDVD10.

Hi gagias,

for playing iso-files you have to install Virtual-Clone-Drive (Slysoft) or DeamonTools. You must activate it in Config/General/Virtual Drive (Drive-Tool (exe-file of VCD or DT), drive-letter and drive-number), check the box "Automount image-file", add .iso to Video-Extensions. Add the path to your Video-Folder-section. Close config. Start MP. After that you must navigate to Video in MP, search your iso-image, press "ok" and the image will be loaded. Return to the Home-Menu, select "Blu Ray" (or whatever you called the caption in the HD_Starter-config) and then the HD_Starter script will terminate MP and start PDVD.

btw. to disable autostart of PDVD terminate the service PDVDserv (or so) in autostart.

First of all a BIG THANK YOU for opening this thread! The old one was just too big to find the information needed.

Unfortunately I have problems following your guide When I execute the DLLFix.exe, it crashes end terminates with no apparent reason. Additionally, I cannot configure the HD Starter Plugin, as described in point 4, due to missing "strings_en.xml" (although it is present in the respective folder).
After two errors out of four steps, I think something is seriously NOT working as intended.

Do you have an idea what could be wrong? Am I missing an important file which I have to download first?
