Bottom of video corrupted (1 Viewer)

Hi All ,

I have a bizarre problem in mediaportal 1.10 where if i play any movie , regardless of format the bottom of the video is distorted like you used to get when playing a vhs video ( showing my age now ). Anyway what is so strange about the problem, is that if i open tv series and play a episode , they are working perfect with no distortion!!

This is likely to be a codec [edit: ...or refresh rate...] problem.
If you want help, please post a screenshot and full log files [collected using the watchdog with option 1 or 2]:

Thank you for the quick reply ,can't post logs till later, screenshot cannot capture the problem, but that is what i assumed ,that it was a codec problem , but i have tried switching codecs which has made no difference ,also if that was the problem, wouldn't it affect the tv series playback as well?

The log files are needed to understand what is going on.
