I am watching a MP4 formated video that is stored on a local drive of the MediaPortal PC. After the video has played for about 30-60 mintues (it varies), I get the White Spinning Circle symbol that would typically indicate that something is buffering. Nothing appears to be happening, and I have allowed it to continue for as long as about 15 minutes, but I don't know if it would eventually stop or not. However, if I pause my video, close MediaPortal and then open it again and go back to the video to resume, everything works fine for another 30 minutes to an hour or so. Has anyone else seen this situation?

Sounds like a plugin is trying to update from the internet, believe worldweather was one such plugin that had this issue, make sure you have the very latest release.
Easiest way of doing this is use the desktop MP extensions installer, do a update and see if anything new shows up.

Also could you be using a wireless network, they can be notorious at dropping out.

I had this issue also, it disapeared after upgrading to MP1.3a. I never managed to track it down but I hadn't considered worldweather doing it.

As part of upgrading to MP1.3a my current skin (avalonis) finally integrated the latest version of worldweather, so its likely it was my problem too.
