    Hi

I unfortunately loged a bug in the wrong forum-thread so it seems to have been missed, the error description is as follows....

There is a problem with the TV-Guide search functionality, the screen always comes up empty, error-Log reports a "System.NullReferenceException" problem.

I don't know if its important, but I import XMLTV files into TV2 and not TV-Server....

My Error-Log attached in the thread below...

    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...g-1-0-rc1-tv2-guide-search-not-working-38549/

    Cheers
    GeoV

    Hi,
Attach all logs from a error like this & if you haven't done it set log level in MediaPortal Config -> General to debug.

    Regards
    Roy

Thanks for responding Roy....this problem has been driving me crazy...:D

OK, I have already said that I still use TV2, and that I import XMLTV-files. I have also checked the "TVDatabaseV21.db3" database to make sure that all the TV-Guide data imported OK, and there is no visible problem that I can see.

Steps that I take are as follows:

    1) Go to "My TV" screen...
    2) Click on the "Search" tab....
    3) The screen comes back empty; usually it would show a list of all the TV-programs.
    4) No matter what you select, the screen never shows any TV-program detail..

The logs you requested are attached below:

    Hi,
Thanks for the logs (logs help to see where the bug occurs & it's easier to check when it occured).
This bug was introduced in revision 18079 & since most of us are using TVE3 we haven't spotted it.
So now it's up to you to test if this will work or not, have attaced a new WindowPlugins.dll(removed bug fixed & not needed anymore ;) ) which you have to test & report back ;)

    Edit: Bug added to Mantis

    Regards
    Roy
